Pecha Kucha Presentation 10.21.08
This video is a narrated version of the pecha kucha presentation that I made at the national conference of the OD Network in Austin, Texas on October 21, 2008. Pecha kucha is japanese for "chatter". It is a new form of restricted powerpoint presentation started in Japan to get away from the endless and often boring powerpoint presentations given at meetings and conferences. The presenter is only allowed to use 20 slides and can only spend 20 seconds talking about each slide. Hence, the total presentation can only be 6 minutes and 40 seconds long. This format has become very popular in the tech world as a social way to present new ideas. The OD Network tried it out at this year's conference with much success.

The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School Advance Management Program and Team Concepts, Inc. partnered to conduct the “Inspirational Leadership”© program for 55 leaders from all over the world. Rowing was the venue and metaphor for learning the skills of being an “inspirational leader”. We filmed this learning experience and produced a video of the key learning points and supporting experiences for each participant. We also produced a Leader’s Guide to facilitate the transfer of this learning once each participant was back on the job.
